It’s interesting to know that the Galaxy A57, which was announced, comes with many new and enhanced features. It brings a faster performance and the Exynos 1680 processor features faster wireless connectivity. It includes a newer model of Bluetooth. Though the Galaxy A37 doesn’t have this upgrade (it uses the Exynos 1480 chip from 2024).

However, the Galaxy A57 comes with Bluetooth 6.0. It’s the first mid-range smartphone from Samsung with this version of Bluetooth. The device also matches the Galaxy S26+ and the Galaxy S26 Ultra, because they also feature Bluetooth 6.0.
Galaxy A57 Bluetooth 6.0
Bluetooth 6.0 brings some merits as it introduces a technology known as Bluetooth Channel Sounding. It has the capabilities to measure the distance between two Bluetooth devices, using millimetre-level accuracy rather than half a meter-level accuracy. This makes Bluetooth 6.0 similar to UWB, as it allows a phone to search other Bluetooth devices, like trackers. It carries out this task with good accuracy.
Bluetooth 6.0 also offers up to 3Mbps download speeds and supports LE Audio with LC3+ audio codec for enhanced audio quality. This is more noticeable when connected to compatible wireless earbuds or headphones, such as the Galaxy Buds 4 and the Galaxy Buds 4 Pro.
Using Isochronous Adaptation Layer (ISOAL) Enhancement, Bluetooth 6.0 can comfortably split data into smaller packets. When this happens, it enhances reliability and reduces latency as well.
Among the Galaxy A57 Bluetooth 6.0 features is improving connection reliability in places where many wireless devices are nearby.
